The Best Hollywood Halloween Costumes: Beyonce, Katy Perry, Bette Midler and More

Bette Midler arrived at the New York Restoration Project’s Hulaween fundraiser on Friday dressed as her character Winnie Sanderson from “Hocus Pocus,” effectively raising the costume bar this Halloween weekend.

But Midler isn’t the only celebrity who pulled out all the stops for 2016. Here are some of the best costumes of the season, from Katy Perry‘s Hillary Clinton getup, to Beyonce’s Salt-N-Pepa look.

Beyonce, her mom Tina Knowles, and her daughter Blue Ivy recreated Salt-N-Pepa’s look from their “Push It” music video.

Kylie Jenner also paid tribute to a music idol, dressing as Christina Aguilera from her “Dirty” music video.

Amy Schumer donned a curly wig and a yellow cap, and posed with her boyfriend, Ben Hanisch, to wish a “Stranger things #happyhalloween from Eleven and Dustin!”

Mindy Kaling put on a grey moustache and a pilot’s costume and captioned her Instagram post, “Just a girl, dressed up as Tom Hanks as Sully Sullenberger III from the film ‘Sully,’ avoiding doing her work. This expression is ‘Those better not be birds.’”

Heidi Klum teamed up with Ellen DeGeneres to deliver a Sia ensemble, with DeGeneres dressed as the singer in her famous black and white wig, accompanied by Klum as Maddie Ziegler, the girl seen dancing in several of her videos.

Nina Dobrev and Taylor Lautner had the same idea and both dressed up as Ryan Lochte, complete with white hair and gold medals.

Meanwhile the morning shows battled it out for best ensemble costume, with “Today” taking a ’90s approach. Savannah Guthrie dressed as Demi Moore’s pregnant Vanity Fair cover, Willie Geist and Tamron Hall as Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace from “Pulp Fiction,” Carson Daly as the Terminator, and Matt Lauer as Jerry Seinfeld (in a puffy shirt).

“Good Morning America” went for a less coordinated effort with Robin Roberts as a Pokemon hunter and Michael Strahan dressed as Pikachu. Lara Spencer came to work as Alexander Hamilton and delivered the news in rhyme.

Kelly Ripa and “Live With Kelly” guest host Jerry O’Connell also channeled “Hamilton,” in addition to a slew of other costumes, including Beyonce and Negan in a mashup of Beyoncé’s “Hold Up” music video and “The Walking Dead” Season 7 premiere, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on “Family Feud,” and Harley Quinn and the Joker from “Suicide Squad.”
